Meeting Date:  Thursday, August 7, 2008  6:00 PM

Location:  AFL-CIO, 419 South Washington Sq, Located on the corner of Washington and Lenawee St. in Lansing.  [Map]  Parking is available next ot the building.

Agenda:  County Convention August 16, 2008 and Fundraising for the 8th Congressional District.

Bob Alexander Files Nominating Petitions to Challenge Mike “Recession” Rogers
 
“Mid Michigan Voters deserve a Congress member who is working for them, as they struggle to care for their families and themselves,” stated Bob Alexander today before turning in 1,400 nomination signatures to be the Democratic candidate for the 8th Congressional District.  “You are doing all you can to get ahead.  You need our government to be helping you.  Instead, conservative Republican Mike Rogers has been voting against you at every opportunity for 8 years.  You know that we must retire Rogers, Bush & Cheney and McCain, on November 4th.”
